Jeanmarie Loria wins SunTrust Distinguished Leader of Merit award

Academic and Certifications

Jeanmarie Loria earned her MBA with a concentration in Finance from Rollins College - Crummer Graduate School of Business and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rollins College. She is Six Sigma green belt certified and is a Certified Conflict Resolution Mediator.


Jeanmarie was named the SunTrust Distinguished Leader of Merit, the top honor given to the student in Crummer's Center for Leadership Development who best exemplifies the qualities of ethical, responsible and thoughtful leadership, and who has applied these characteristics and practices at the school and throughout the community.

Professional Life

Jeanmarie held many internships in various industries while pursuing her MBA. Upon graduation, she was made six job offers and currently holds a fulltime position in addition to running her three companies. During her MBA, she also studied the trends in Generation Ys and young emerging professionals through her graduate assistantship position. For two years she monitored and consulted over 120 graduate students regarding their career options, goals, and opportunities. She continues to coach people from High School students to CEOs to harness their strengths and showcase their talents.
Jeanmarie Loria Consulting, LLC is her company where she provides professional branding advice and solutions to many clients from career coaching to website development and design and social media. Within EJTek, LLC, the company that she co-founded, she works with clients across multiple industries to help both organizations and key individuals improve their efficiency by developing strategies and creating technologies that improve their bottom-line performance. Her third company, Easy Internships, was established during the summer of 2010 to help companies and students create successful internship opportunities.

Community Engagement

Jeanmarie is actively involved in the community and currently holds a foundation board member position at Nap Ford, a community school. She also sits on the board of ALPFA, a non-for-profit and is on the executive steering committee of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a not-for-profit network of entrepreneurs and professionals dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship. She is on the membership committee of the Central Florida National Black MBA Association and a member of the American Cancer Society Metro Orlando Operating Board. She is a former Board member of Quest, Inc., a large not-for-profit serving people with disabilities and Board member of National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) as the Orlando Chapter's Education Officer, where she was responsible for educational events and activities as well as building relationships/partnerships with local businesses and schools to recruit MBAs.

Additional Information

Being from New York, I obviously love the Yankees and a nice slice of New York pizza! I enjoy traveling, shopping and going to Walt Disney World. I am crazy about foreign flicks and hope to get to Cannes Film Festival within the next five years.
